4 Year End Review Process Dates
YE Form Launch:  November 15, 2017 Employee completion date: December 31, 2017 Manager completion date: January 15, 2018 One over one manager completion date: January 31, 2018 Discussion completion date: February 28, 2018 Employee Acknowledgement completion date: March 1, 2018 Reminder: Employees without a work in the system will not receive notifications. Managers will get four s for each employee. One for each step in the process. Work s should be entered in Workday under:

5 Mid Year move to completion
If the Mid Year review form is not moved to completion, the system does not allow a Year End review form to be launched for that employee. Any employee that has an outstanding Mid Year review form, either with self or manager, will have it mass advanced to completion on November 14.

6 Employee - Year End Review Process
Employees will receive a Self Evaluation task in their Inbox on November 15. To start the task, choose: -‘Go to Guided Editor’ for step-by-step -‘Go to Summary Editor’ to access all The Guided Editor will open up the Goals section. The employee should review their goal and make edits using the pencil The deletes the goal entirely. Use caution!

7 Employee – Year End Review Process continued
Enter a rating and a comment for each goal. Clicking on the arrows in the corner of the Comment box will expand it for easier typing. The Employee Evaluation is summarized into one section, regardless of how many goals have been rated. The Overall section requires a comment. A link is provided for employees wanting further details on the Leader and Functional Imperatives.

8 Manager – YE Review Process for direct reports
Once YE Review form is launched, Managers will have: A Self Evaluation for themselves Manager Evaluation for each direct report As direct reports complete their Self Evaluations, the form will route to the manager’s Inbox to complete. The manager should review those Self Evaluations and Approve or Send Back to the employee. Once approved, it’s done. It cannot be sent back. Best practices: Unless the employee requests the review back, the manager should approve it. Self Evaluation should be approved by the manager prior to sending the Manager Evaluation to the one over one Manager.

9 Manager - YE Review Process for direct reports
The manager will receive the Manager Evaluation task in their Inbox and can work on it at any time. However, it is best practice to wait until the Self Evaluation is approved before submitting the YE to the 1+ manager. The Manager should review each goal and make edits using the pencil The deletes the goal entirely. Use caution!

10 Manager - YE Review Process for direct reports (cont)
Enter a rating and a comment for each goal. Clicking on the arrows in the corner of the Comment box will expand it for easier typing. The Overall section shows a summary of the ratings. The manager has the option to change the overall rating by clicking on the over ride check box. An overall comment is required. Once completed, the manager should approve and the form will route to the 1+ manager.

11 1+ Manager – YE Review Process
The one over one manager will receive the Manager Evaluation task in their Inbox. They have the option to Approve or Send Back to the manager.

12 Have a Discussion & Acknowledgement
After the 1+ Manager approves the review, the manager will have a task to Have a Discussion. They should set up an appointment with the employee. After discussion, click on Submit. The employee will have a task in their inbox to acknowledge the form with or without comments. To comment, they should choose the second radio button.

13 Printing Review Forms - Employees
Click on Performance from the Employee Profile. *Helpful hint: click on ‘Fit’ when printing pdf to size to paper. Click on Reviews. Click on the pdf icon. When the pdf is ready, the employee will be notified. They can print by clicking on link. The pdf can also be found under Notifications.

14 Printing Review Forms - Managers
Click on Team Performance Worklet. Click on Print Employee Reviews. Type in Organization and select Review Template. Click on Refresh to see Process Status. Results will show the number of reviews printed. Check ‘W:Drive’ (click on name in upper right-hand corner.

15 Get Feedback Find Talent off of the Employee’s Actions.
Click on Get Feedback on Worker. Enter the name in the ‘From Workers’ box of the person you are requesting Feedback from. Choose Privacy options. Selecting Hide Feedback from Worker will prevent the worker from seeing the feedback. Enter question in Question box. Click Add for additional questions and then Submit. Example: Use Get Feedback to ask a project leader or a functional manager for feedback on an employee’s performance.

16 Get Feedback cont. Get Feedback request will be a task in the person’s Inbox. Fill in Feedback (or option to Decline) and click on Submit. Find Talent off of the Employee’s Actions. Click on View Feedback. Date, From, Question and Feedback will appear in the table. This can be downloaded into a spreadsheet.

18 Manage Goals tasks in Inbox at YE Review form launch – Employee
If an employee has a Manage Goals task(s) in their Inbox that they have not submitted, they can either Edit the goal and Submit it or, if the goal is no longer needed, click Delete Incomplete.

19 Manage Goals tasks in Inbox at YE Review form launch – Manager
If a Manager has a Manage Goals task(s) in their Inbox they have several choices. Approve Send back Edit Delete To Edit or Delete the Goal, the manager needs to click on the Goal.

20 Goals not complete at time of YE Review form launch
Employee should scroll down to the last goal in system, before Summary, and click on ‘Add’. To add an Existing Goal, check the box. To add a new goal, simply begin typing in the Goal box. These will be added to the manager’s evaluation as the employee adds them to the self evaluation. Existing goals need to be added one at a time. Just click on the circle next to the goal to add it to the YE Review form. These will be added to the manager’s evaluation as the employee adds them to the self evaluation. Note: If manager has submitted the Manager Evaluation to the 1+ Manager before the employee’s Self Evaluation has been submitted, the added goals will not have the Manager’s rating.

21 Error Messages For employees to submit the review:

22 Manager at time of launch of review no longer a manager
If an employee used to be a manager at the time the form launched but is no longer a manager, they will get the ‘Action no longer available’ message. When an employee has the yellow bar over their picture, they have a manager role in the system. If you experience this issue, please the WD Support box and we will fix it.

23 Delegate to new Manager for HRBPs
Type Delegate Task in search box. Enter in name of Delegating Worker. For Business Process, select All. Choose Business Process to Delegate. Enter name of Proposed Delegate. Add a comment. Click on Submit.

24 Delegate task to new manager as a manager
Click on task to delegate from Inbox. Click on gear in upper right-hand corner. Select Delegate Task. Enter Proposed Delegates. Type in comment. Click on Submit.

25 Cancelling Review Form
Click on Actions. Click on Worker History. Click on View Worker History. Click on Related Actions button. Scroll down to Business Process. Click on Cancel. Enter a reason for cancelling review form. Click on Submit. Note: Do not cancel any review forms for terminated employees that are eligible for a Global stip bonus.
