3 June - November Hurricane season is upon us once again!
Did you know the Supreme Council has a Disaster Preparedness Plan? A plan with steps for your councils to prepare your community before disaster strikes Did you know the State Council has a Disaster & Relief Plan of Action? A plan for those who want to assist! A plan for those who need assistance!

4 Fraternal Year 28 Councils & 1 Assembly responded to disasters in New Orleans East, Southeast Texas, & Southwest Louisiana! Knights & their families donated their Time, Talents & Resources! Relief efforts included: Time & money to help those in need Cooking for & feeding those in need as well as first-responders Gutting & cleaning homes and businesses Donations were received by the Supreme Council as well as the Louisiana State Council

This contact person will be able to help you with the relief efforts: Getting you the assistance you may need Coordinating the relief efforts in the area

8 Disaster Preparedness
This program motivates councils to take a holistic approach by promoting readiness in times of crisis, assessing response capabilities and learning how to properly respond well ahead of a disaster. You can find the Preparedness program information in the Faith in Action booklet under the Community section.
