4 Last Year Review - 2013 At our 2013 Membership Meeting, many members said that some of our biggest challenges were: Defining coaching for the lay person Elevating the coaching profession Promoting coaching as an understood and valued profession Defining the value of coaching to our community Letting the community know the value of professional coaching Some of your wants were: Spotlight from ICF Global Newsworthy community impact

5 In 2013 We Delivered! Our ICW signature event brought more than 90 attendees from the community and allowed each a better understanding of the different types of coaching/coaches and a live coaching experience at our round tables We also received proclamations from government officials in Raleigh and Durham in recognition of the coaching profession We won a global award for ICW from the ICF and now our efforts are paving the way for chapters around the globe to make their ICW a success and allow them to show the value of coaching in their communities
