2. Cummins Inc Free Trade Agreement Process
Cummins Inc Free Trade Agreement process is currently managed through a 3rd-Party system (Integration Point).
All solicitation responses should be made in the IP system and not ISCM for engine business suppliers.
For suppliers who are utilized by more than one Cummins business entity, you will receive multiple requests.
Solicitation requests are based on supplier numbers. If you have more than one supplier number you will receive multiple solicitation requests.
Solicitation requests are sent to the individual(s) currently stored in the IP system.
It is Cummins Inc expectation for each supplier to fully answer all FTA solicitations.

3. Solicitation Contact Information
The original solicitation request will contain:
Link to the instructions for completing the solicitation request.
Link to the Supplier Dashboard
If the primary contact is incorrect in our system:
Please provide the correct contact person name, address, and phone number.
Please work with your account rep to ensure the correct contact is listed.
When a change in primary contact occurs:
A reminder solicitation request is sent to provide the link to the FTA solicitation to the new contact. Note: A reminder solicitation request will only have the link to the Supplier Dashboard.

4. Solicitation Mail Received
A solicitation will be received for each FTA being requested.
Although there are multiple s they all contain the same link that will direct you to the supplier dashboard.

5. Link Credentials
The solicitation will contain the link to access the Integration Point (IP) system
There is no longer a log-in credentials. The link should direct you to the Supplier Dashboard.

6. IP Dashboard The dashboard will provide your completion percentage
Clicking the word “Go to Solicitation” will take you to the Supplier Certificate screen for completion

8. Auto-Fill Option IP contains an Auto-Fill option
Add the relevant information in the appropriate field
Click the “Update Selected Products” link

If a product does not qualify, obsolete, or you do not recognize the part – select Non-Qualifying
Only additional info needed is COO (Country of Origin)
If Qualifying, the only applicable COOs (MX, CA, US) will be listed

When you select a new tab the information inserted on the previous tab will automatically save

12. Product Carry Over Feature
IP has an option to carry over previously inserted product information from one FTA to the next
To do so select “Copy Values from Other Tab”

Another option is to download the solicited items into an Excel spreadsheet
Select the “Extract to Spreadsheet” option

It is important not to change the format but you can change the order at a line item level

For the Qual column (column E), enter Y for parts that are Qualifying. Enter N for parts that are Non-Qualifying

Under the parties Tab you can insert the information for fields 1, 3, & 4 of the NAFTA cert (CBP 434)
Select “Edit Party Information” to update section

A name, address, tax ID number, and must be used in either the Exporter or Producer section (or both)
Ensure a physical address is used and not a PO Box
Once finished select “Save Exporter Info” & move on to the Importer Information and Producer tabs and repeat steps 1 & 2.
Once you have completed the last tab, click on the X on the upper right hand corner to close the window.

Print & sign the document.
Click on Browse to upload the signed document.
Select the check box to certify the documents uploaded have been signed and click on Submit Document(s).

30. Frequently Asked Questions
If an item is obsolete, are we required to provide a response?
Yes, please mark as non-qualifying with the item’s country of origin
If we don’t sell goods to the countries represented in the various FTA’s, are we required to provide a response?
Yes, please mark as non-qualifying with the country of manufacture.
What if there is a product I do not recognize?
Mark the product as Non-Qualifying with a country of origin XX
Where can I obtain my cross reference numbers?
Please contact your Cummins Account Manager to obtain your cross-reference numbers.
How should we complete the Parties tab if we do not produce or export the goods?
For the Producer field, you may select “Available to Customs Upon Request”
If the Exporter is unknown, type in Unknown in all the fields under Exporter Information tab. If there are various, type in Various.
