All National Board Workshops are FREE for ALL NC educators! HELPS Literacy Workshops are $15 for PENC Members, $25 for Non-Members. You do not have to be a PENC member to attend.

7. PENC Scholarships & Grants
New Teacher Grants
For members in their first 3 years of teaching practice who demonstrate a need for instructional supplies
16 grant winners statewide will receive $250.
NCCAT Subs on Us Grant
Covers the cost of a substitute for up to a week so that members can attend a program at NCCAT
Professional Development Scholarship
For members who pursue PD opportunities
4 scholarships given in the amount of $250
