Because Chlamydia is so common, it is recommended that anyone under 25 that is sexually active should get a chlamydia test once a year, or whenever they change sexual partner. There are often no symptoms of chlamydia, so you may have an infection without knowing. An infection left untreated can lead to serious health problems, and is a leading causes of infertility! An STI test is the only way to be certain. If you have a chlamydia test and discover that you've tested positive (have an infection), there is no need to panic. If you think you have a STI
Then go to a doctors or to a sexual clinic. You can turn up to a sexual clinic without an appointment. You don’t have to give your name or your doctors name if you go to a sexual clinic. At the clinic they will ask questions about your sex life, ask to see your penis or vagina and then tell you what tests they think you should take.
