2. What do we already know?
The Constitution was ratified (passed into law) with out a Bill of Rights.
The Bill of Rights was added after the fact as a change to the original Constitution.
Even thought the Bill of Rights is technically the first ten amendments to the Constitution they were all passed as a package deal.
Since the Bill of Rights was passed in 1789 there have been 17 additional Amendments or CHANGES to the Constitution.

3. Who was left out?
As we all know the world was not exactly a fair and equal place in 1791.
Make a quick list of the types of people you think were “left out” when the rights in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were being created.
