Our vision: “is for our community to have opportunities and access to work within the region, be connected to the environment, have access to lifelong learning, improved health and wellbeing, where our young people feel connected, and our rich cultural diversity thrives.” Our 2017 priorities: Economic Development: a connected local economy with more jobs and improved connectivity. Education Pathways: Improved learning and employment pathways for residents, particularly young people. Environment: improve connection to the natural environment. Young People: Empower young people in the region. Health and Wellbeing: Increase access to affordable and culturally sensitive health services.
