A woodsy and positive blend of Black Spruce, Blue Tansy, Frankincense, Geranium, and Camphor Wood essential oils
Valor essential oil blend is one of our most popular products and a favorite of Founder D. Gary Young. Its powerful yet grounding scent is versatile enough that you can integrate it into your morning routine and enjoy it throughout the day.
If you have a bottle of Valor or a Valor Roll-On, apply it to your wrists or simply smell it to experience the uplifting outdoor aroma. Pass the bottle around if you are teaching a class.

3. VALOR® Essential oils in Valor and their main constituents:
Black Spruce (Picea mariana): Alpha-pinene, camphene, beta-pinene, bornyl acetate
Blue Tansy (Tanacetum annuum): Alpha-pinene, camphor, chamazulene
Camphor Wood (Cinnamomum camphora): Linalool
Frankincense (Boswellia carterii): Alpha-pinene, limonene
Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens): Citronellol, geraniol
Although it’s not available as a single essential oil, Camphor Wood plays an integral role in Valor essential oil blend. Our Sourcing team recently collaborated with our Taiwan Co-op Farm to expand its operations to include Camphor Wood essential oil. In combination with Geranium, Camphor Wood creates a perfect aromatic note for this blend.

4. PLANT INFORMATION
Frankincense has played an integral role in religious ceremonies for thousands of years.
Geranium is often used to support the appearance of healthy- looking skin.
Black spruce trees have amazing resilience. They can withstand and even thrive in extremely harsh and cold environments.
Blue Tansy has a rich history and has been used for thousands of years for many different purposes.
Camphor trees are part of the evergreen family and can reach up to 40 meters in height and live to be more than 1,000 years old.
Additional information:
• Frankincense is a holy anointing oil in the Middle East and, anciently, may have been worth as much as or more than gold.
• Black spruce trees grow slowly and have a scruffy appearance.
• Black spruce was used by Native American people to craft snowshoe frames and drying racks.
• Camphor wood is related to the cinnamon tree.
• Camphor Wood essential oil has a fresh, sweet, and woodsy aroma that is similar to Rosewood oil.

Valor® was inspired by information D. Gary Young found while reading old Roman papers at a Hebrew University. The texts stated that soldiers would bathe in essential oils as part of a three-day ceremony to prepare for war.

10. DIY MASSAGE CREAM ½ cup organic virgin coconut oil 15 drops Valor®
10 drops PanAway ®
10 drops Frankincense
Whip coconut oil with an electric mixer until it becomes fluffy. Add essential oils and stir gently. Store in an air-tight glass container in a cool place.
