What is ACE? ACE =Advanced Course in Engineering

Program Objectives: To grow problem solving skills
the ability to identify and solve real engineering problems within a limited amount of time. To grow technical broadness exposure to knowledge in a variety of engineering disciplines, concepts and applications specific to business To grow technical communication skills the confidence to communicate technical information in written and oral forms; and the ability to review & critique.

History 1923: Started as ACE Program – to transfer knowledge
Advanced Course in Engineering the 1st Corporate Program! 1978: EEP started – bridge the gap Rotational Assignments ACE required 1994: TLP created – cross functionality 3 Engineering programs combined with 3 “tracks” Common Corporate training 1999: EEDP created as TLP unbundled – focus on expertise

0.5~3 years of experience in engineering function in GEHC High potential to grow as a technical expert Strong commitment to a career in technology in GEHC Strong self-motivation for learning & development Last EMS rating as Role Model or Excellent: prioritized 2016 Class Size: 10 seats: in system track Open to all eligible engineers from Beijing and Wuxi

Candidates: EID and Campus Graduates Graduation Requirements: Completion of A course (homework/reports; score >80%) Completion of B Course Completion of Corporate training At least 1 project completion 3~4 rotations in 2 yr period (8 month for each rotation) ACE Positioning: Early Career Development Candidates: 0.5~3 yr experience in GEHC engineering teams Graduation Requirements: Completion of A course (homework/reports; score >80%) Completion of B Course At least 1 project completion * NO Rotation, stay in current job All GE Corporate and GEHC certified: aligned with GE Global Certification Criteria
