7 Nyota Current Activities
Djibouti Nyota Power and Fabtech are working together develop a geothermal power plant in Djibouti and assessing feasibility of building a solar power project. Nyota is in the process of building a management and technical presence in Djibouti Kenya Nyota Power and Fabtech are working together bid for a geothermal concession in Kenya. In discussions with local Kenyan group to build 100 MGW solar project

9 Solar Projects in Ghana
Nyota Power and Ankhal Energy are working together in assessing the feasibility of developing a utility scale Solar power plant in Ghana. Ghana represents a very attractive market to develop solar PV projects: Solar resource is abundant in Ghana. The monthly average solar irradiation is between 4.4 and 5.6 kWh/m2/day (16-20 MJ/m/day), with sunshine duration between 1,800 and 3,000 hours per annum Explicit Feed-in Tariffs (FITs) for energy generated by renewable sources; Long term PPAs The government is targeting to increase the contribution of wind and solar power to 10% of the country’s capacity by 2020 and has recently enacted the Renewable Energy Law to support this objective

Haileybury School of Mines (class of ‘87). Anu Tayal (London) Finance Director, bringing over 17 years of experience across accounting and corporate finance (including private and public capital raising and M&A). Most recently a director in the Energy Corporate Finance team at Ernst & Young in London, prior to which Anu was a member of the Corporate Finance teams at investments banks Matrix Group and Evolution Group plc. Anu is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
