5 Whole School High Value Literacy Target 2017-18
To develop students’ awareness and application of subject specific command language at KS3 and KS4. Departmental Focus: To audit command language skills within subject – use of examiners report feedback, internal assessment review. To develop subject specific command language learning mats. To provide students with exemplar command language resources. To promote effective use and access to command language through classroom display and modelled exemplars of good practice.

Departmental Focus: To audit and map numeracy across KS3 and KS4 within the subject area To develop subject specific numeracy language learning mats. To provide students with exemplar resources. To promote effective use and access to numeracy within the subject through classroom display and modelled exemplars of good practice.
