3 Connotation - The emotional implications and associations that a word may carry.
a. the suggesting of a meaning by a word apart from the thing it explicitly names or describes b. something suggested by a word or thing Which has a better connotation, “cheap” or “inexpensive”? Does “cheap” mean the same thing as “affordable”?

4 Speaking of Pricing “Most items at retail are 8x the actual cost price. For Example: A $32 retail item probably cost around $4 to make. ” Wholesale is the price that retailers pay for items from the suppliers. Retail is the price that consumers pay for items from retailers. Wholesale is cheaper as retailers buy items. A retail store sells individual items to the public. A wholesaler sells pallets of items to the retailer. In general, to get their retail price, most shopkeepers will multiply your wholesale price by two.
