Learning Outcomes To be able to explain the body/soul theories of behaviourism, functionalism and identity theory. To be able to begin evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the concept of the soul.

Identity theory teaches that the mind is just the brain.
Materialism? Identity theory teaches that the mind is just the brain. Behaviourism and Functionalism argue that the mind is what the brain does.
