Coding in POS Coding in your POS and sending out notifications varies with each CE. For NSLP traditional a benefits letter is sent home, pos is coded accordingly (F/R/P). For Provisional Schools (P2, CEP), there is no letter sent to the household and pos does not need to be updated as Provision Schools already have the Free status for all in the POS. Medicaid (ARM) Medicaid Free and Medicaid Reduced information reported on an application or using an award letter from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services Commission cannot be used to determine eligibility. Medicaid Free and Medicaid Reduced eligibility can only be determined based on a match made in the Direct Certification Direct Verification System.
