6 Long term use Pay Station Codes
Valid in Sponsored Guest, Staff, and General Parking Sponsored Guest -  Parking need is per day per department Code will expire after "Event" end date  Department billing   Valid in General Parking only Event Guest Codes-  Jessie - Sponsored Guest –  Long term – 10 minimum, does not expire Event Guests - Parking need is greater than 10, not to exceed 40 Code expires automatically after designated event date Dept billed for usage Jessie Miller, Visitor Information Center Specialist

7 Staff Permits Online Staff Permits Online Can be bought for daily or weekly use. Accessed through your portal under the " Money Matters" tab, "Online Parking Services" Multiple consecutive days must be purchased separately. Must be printed and placed in clear view on dashboard. Off Duty Memo with guidelines to be sent out mid May Requests due no later than June 8th June 8 First Session valid 6/25 - 7/27 Permit pick up starts 6/18 Second Session valid 7/30 -8/31 Permit pick up starts 7/23 June 25 – July 27 Remind departments to sign up to receive memo and request form Explain that permits will not be made up ahead of time, Faculty will need to allow time for permits to be issued Requests due 6/8, first session pick up starting 6/18, all above dates will be in memo Introduce Amy Jamie StCyr, Customer Service Coordinator

Climate Action Plan Second Nature Climate Commitment Transportation Options Employee Vanpool Staff/Faculty Carpool Zipcar – personal or business EV Charging SLO Transit – Ride FREE RTA – County-wide Transit Awards – BWC & BFU Cheryl City and Regional Planning - Green House Gas inventory, transportation contributes over 50% Climate Action Plan completed 2016 – action items to address GHGs in transportation The Carbon Commitment is focused on reducing Greenhouse Gas emissions and achieving carbon neutrality as soon as possible. CSU policy gives directive to hit by 2040, Cal Poly’s goals more aggressive Pres Armstrong signed Second Nature Climate Commitment that includes scope three reductions (commuting/transportation other than fleet vehicles) Working with Office of Sustainability, Energy, and Utilities on measurables and progress tracking. What part can we play? Make smart commute choices: Vanpool – Santa Maria, Templeton, North Coast interest list Carpool – set up or join through iRideshare.org/s/calpoly, register with my office for carpool parking authorization, 14 designated preferred parking spaces located throughout campus for carpool only until 10am, then open for staff parking Zipcar – 11 on campus (only CSU with more than 10), $ /hr, fuel and insurance included, sign up for personal and dept use, reduce fleet vehicles, easy assigned parking EV Chargers – currently located in H-2 near Kennedy Library and in Grand Ave Parking structure, plans for expansion with new structure and possible grant opportunities SLO Transit – Ride Free with Cal Poly ID, currently subsidized through parking fines RTA – Regional Transit, Santa Maria to San Miguel and North Coast, reduced monthly passes, $5 per pass subsidy also from parking fines Work pays off Best Workplaces for Commuters – To be nationally designated as one of the Best Workplaces for Commuters, Cal Poly met the National Standard of Excellence in offering our employees exceptional commuter benefits.
