Is it for fear to wet a widow's eye That thou consumest thyself in single life? Ah! if thou issueless shalt hap to die. The world will wail thee, like a makeless wife; The world will be thy widow and still weep That thou no form of thee hast left behind, When every private widow well may keep By children's eyes her husband's shape in mind. Look, what an unthrift in the world doth spend Shifts but his place, for still the world enjoys it; But beauty's waste hath in the world an end, And kept unused, the user so destroys it No love toward others in that bosom sits That on himself such murderous shame commits. 5 Is it for fear to wet a widow's eye
The world will mourn you, like a wife with no husband; That thou consumest thyself in single life? As every widow will be able to keep Ah! if thou issueless shalt hap to die. If that person commits such a murderous shame. The world will wail thee, like a makeless wife; Look, a person who wastes his money in the world The world will be thy widow and still weep But if beauty is wasted it will be lost in the world, That thou no form of thee hast left behind, Ah! If you happen to die childless. When every private widow well may keep There is no love in that person’s heart for others By children's eyes her husband's shape in mind. Is just moving money around, but the world still has it; Look, what an unthrift in the world doth spend Is it because you’re afraid your widow will cry Shifts but his place, for still the world enjoys it; And if a person doesn’t use it, then he destroys it. But beauty's waste hath in the world an end, The world will be your widow and still weep And kept unused, the user so destroys it. The shape of her husband by looking at her children. No love toward others in that bosom sits That you didn’t leave a copy of yourself behind, That on himself such murderous shame commits. That you eat your own life by remaining single?
