Field AAR – FY11 SFC Promotion and Selection Board
“ERBs often do not accurately reflect assignment history, current assignment, schools and awards when compared to NCOERs and the DA Photo. NCOs must update their records and leaders must be involved in the process. A significant number of ERBs had missing data or stated ―incoming personnel, ―surplus Soldier, and ―known loss instead of the actual duty position, often with several months or over a year in a position. Additionally, ERBs must match the NCOERs in terms of duty description and time in position.“

Learning Objective Action: Update the Officer and Enlisted Record Brief (ORB/ERB) Conditions: Mid-grade HR Leaders in a classroom environment working Individually and as a member of a small group, using doctrinal and administrative publications, practical exercises, case studies, personal experience, handouts, discussion and an awareness of the Operational Environment (OE) variables and actors. Standards: 1. Review an Officer Record Brief (ORB) 2. Review an Enlisted Record Brief (ERB) 3. Perform transactions in eMILPO for the ORB/ERB 4. Verify documents for filing in the AMHRR

Army Military Human Resources Record (AMHRR) is initiated when a Soldier becomes a member of any Army Component Only documents in AR , Table B-1 are authorized to be filed in the AMHRR
