2. The main character of this fable is the milkmaid.
Summary: A milkmaid got milk from her cow. She was thinking about how she would make cheese, and what she would do with the money from the cheese she will sell. She got lost in her thoughts and dropped the milk pail. All of her plans vanished.

3. Moral of the Story Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.
-don’t plan too far ahead.

4. How Can We Learn From This Lesson?
Here at SHMS we can use this lesson by not getting our hopes up to high. If we get our hopes up too high in a class, or a try-out, we might get disappointed if what we want doesn’t turn out right.
