Australia Partner Billing Update: Instructions Due to payment system changes, Microsoft partners with locations in Australia who deliver Planning Services (PS) engagements or execute Software Assurance Training Vouchers (SATV) training sessions may begin updating their partner information within the Payment Central tool starting February 6, Payment requests may resume on February 14, 2017, using the new Microsoft billing address on their invoices. Please refer to the instructions and schedule outlined in this presentation to understand what steps you need to take and when. Summary of Timeline and Instructions: 1. On January 20, 2017, partners should stop submitting payment requests to the CHIP tool. This date commences a 12-day blackout period during which Australia partners SHOULD NOT submit new payment requests in the CHIP tool. 2. On February 6, 2017, partners will receive an inviting them to update their tax information in Payment Central. 3. On February 14, 2017, partners may resume submitting payment requests. Invoices submitted on or after February 14, 2017, must use the updated Microsoft billing address below: Microsoft Pty Ltd 1 Epping Road North Ryde NSW 2113 Australia

4 Payment Central Update Instructions
Step 1: Partner Primary Program Contact receives Starting February 6, 2017, Australia partners will receive an from Microsoft that includes a link to Payment Central. Partners should click the link and login to Payment Central using their Microsoft account. For each location that has a unique Vendor ID, partners will need to take the steps outlined in the following slides. February 14, 2017, is the first day on which Australia partners may resume submitting payment requests in the CHIP tool.

Step 2: Partner accepts Terms & Conditions At the Terms & Conditions window, choose top radio button, click I Agree.

Step 3: Partner clicks on Tax Info to update information Click on Tax Info to open a new page to edit partner tax information.

Step 4: Partner verifies tax status Select the right radio button, choose Australia from the drop-down menu, click Next.

Step 5: Partner verifies tax status From the Tax ID type drop-down menu, select Australian Business Number, input Tax ID number.

Step 6: Partner verifies tax status Upload Company registration Certificate, click Finish.

Step 7: Partner submits information Verify that all columns have green checkboxes and select Submit. IMPORTANT: the partner must follow this step and click Submit, otherwise the information will not be saved.
