Citrus Park Drive and Countryway Blvd.
Adding new sidewalk (west) on Countryway Blvd. from Citrus Park Drive to Racetrack Road One of the major features of the project will be to improve the bicycle and pedestrian access in the area. Notice the green bicycle box intended to benefit cyclists that use the new 6ft. Wide bicycle lane. Also note that as part of the new crossings at Countryway there will be a “Blank Out” box letting drivers know not to proceed northbound on Countryway when pedestrians are in the sidewalk. In addition <CLICK> we will be adding a new sidewalk on the western side of Countryway from Citrus park to Racetrack Road. Citrus Park Drive and Countryway Blvd.

Deer Park Elementary – Ingress / Egress
In this slide we show the future circulation patterns for the school. Right now the parents queue up at the cul-de-sac before getting into the school. Here we have a left turn-in (in orange) at a signalized intersection for both cars (yellow) and buses (red), where the buses turn left for drop off. The parents can enter either the east or west entrance for dropping off and picking up (noted in yellow). Note that we included long turn lanes at both the left turn in and the area for a U-turn to the east to help accommodate traffic. Deer Park Elementary – Ingress / Egress

To Parent Drop Off To Bus / Office Here is a close up of the intersection at Deer Park Elementary. We will be closing the connection for exiting parents so that the on site queue for pick up can be maximized. The orange arrows indicate driving patterns for parent drop off and red for the buses entering and dropping off. The yellow arrows show the exit patterns. Deer Park Elementary – Ingress / Egress

Citrus Park Drive – East End
Here we are reconfiguring the entrance to Fawn Ridge, where the existing entrance off Sheldon will now only be open to residents south of Citrus Park Drive and the residents of Fawn Ridge will have a new signal onto Citrus Park Drive. These improvements also include new pedestrian access and turn lanes into Citrus Park Drive.
