Księży Młyn -Priests Mill 19th century manufacturing district contain factories, workers houses, owners villas, fire station and a park Today its home to the Cinematography Museum, The Lodz Film School and much more.

Izrael Poznanskis Palace This beautiful, vast palace was built in the 19th and then rebuilt a few times. Finally the building gets a neorenaissance and barouqe style. Its situated on 15 Ogrodowa Street. Today it is the headquarters of the City Museum.

Piotrkowska Street The longest shopping precinct in Poland. Along the street there are old tenement houses, most of them represents 19th century eclecticism. Is famous for its pubs and clubs.

Geyers White Factory and open- air museum A complex of classical, industrial buildings from the 19 th c. situated at the end of Piotrkowska Street. The first steam engine in the Polish Kingdom was launched in White Factory. Open-air musemum represents regional wooden architecture from 19 th /20 th centuries

Urban greenery 1.About 30% of city are coverd by green areas, the best place for a rest after a stressful day. 2. In Lodz we have 34 parks, 11 of them are listed in the register of monuments. 3.The biggest parks ( Pilsudskiego, Mickiewicza, Zrodliska ) were founded in a place of the Government Forests.

Z o o Founded in 1938, the first resident was a deer name Boruta. Not too big, but the perfect place for a family trip. After building a great rock enclosure for baboons they quickly become the flagship of the ZOO. It has a fantastic enclosure for giraffes, and bison, a new, modern enclosure for small cats and a junior zoo.
