my helpless estate, And hath shed His own
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come, Let this blest assurance control, That Christ has regarded my helpless estate, And hath shed His own blood for my soul.

and I bear it no more, Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,

It is well, with my soul, It is well, it is well, with my soul.
29
And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, The clouds be rolled
back as a scroll; The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend, Even so, it is well with my soul.

1 Peter 2:18-25 Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust.
33
For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly.
34
For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.
35
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in His steps. He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in His mouth.
36
When He was reviled, He did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to Him who judges justly.
37
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
38
For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Matthew 5:10-12 “Blessed are those who are
persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
48
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward
is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

50
Romans 12:19-21 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
