4. Linear Editing
Used to edit analog video. You must fast forward and rewind to get to a specific place on the video.
Linear editing - A form of editing used to change analog video. You must fast-forward and rewind to get to specific places within the video (i.e. linear-- go in a straight line)
Nonlinear editing - A form of editing used to change digital video. You can skip to any place in the video to make changes. (i.e. nonlinear-- not in a straight line)
