2. We Have Nothing to Fear but God
There are many things of which to worry about. (Matt. 6:25-34)
It is unreasonable to think we can live entirely without fear.
The thing is to avoid being controlled by fear of things other than God.

3. We Have Nothing to Fear but God
"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Matt 6:24 (NKJV)

4. We Have Nothing to Fear but God
Israel feared something more than Jehovah.
It was told to the house of David that “Syria’s forces are deployed in Ephraim”. (Isaiah 7:1-2)
God warned the people they were fearing the wrong thing. (Isaiah 8:12-14)

5. We Have Nothing to Fear but God
The wise man’s comments of fearing the LORD. (Prov. 1:7; Ps. 112:1; Eccl. 3:14; 5:4-7; 7:15-19; 8:12-13; 12:13)
Bible fear of God:
Based on the knowledge of Him.
Based on the knowledge of our complete dependence upon Him.
Commitment of the total being to trust and believe the living God.

6. We Have Nothing to Fear but God
As Christians, we must have greater concerns than the mere things of this world.
The fear of God will help us keep the fears of this world in proper proportion.
Knowing that we are on God’s side will comfort us against the fears of this world. (Ps. 23:4; 27:1-4; 46:1-3; 118:6)
