1 We Have Nothing to Fear but God
Ecclesiastes 3:13-14

2 FEAR Fear is a great motivator.
Will motivate people to create elaborate precautions. A very necessary component of our relationship to God. It is ironic that in our day people are afraid of many things, yet the One thing most are not afraid of is God.

3 Why should I fear God? He is my Creator, and I am utterly dependent upon Him for my very existence. (Acts 17:22b-31; Col. 1:15-18; Heb. 1:3) He is the One to whom I am responsible, and to whom I will have to give account. (Heb. 10:26-31) He is the being of such incomprehensible power and majesty, that to contemplate Him is to stand in awe of Him. (Job 38-42)

4 Why should I fear God? The wisdom to get through this life requires this fear. (Proverbs 1:7-9; 9:10-12; Psalm 111:10)

5 Ecclesiastes 3:14 (NKJV) I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.

6 Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (NKJV)
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all. 14 For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.

7 I should fear God He is my Creator, and I am totally dependent upon Him for my very existence. The wisdom to get through this life requires this fear. To contemplate Him is to stand in awe of Him. To fear God is the whole of man.
