2. How to earn myOn points to improve your grade
Read the required number of books for Projects that are assigned to you on myOn.
For each book that you read, write a one page book review of the book
Turn in your book review on Engrade. The assignment is called “myOn points”

3. Writing your Review. Your review should include the following
The title and the author of the book
A short summary on what the book is about
An explanation of 5 things that you liked/disliked about the book. Give examples and page numbers
A concluding sentence

4. Book Review (Model/Sentence Starters)
Living Through The Vietnam War is a non fiction literary work written by Cath Senker. This author does an excellent job of telling the story of how the Vietnam War began and it takes the reader through the process of the entire war. For example, Senker clearly illustrates how the French lost control of Vietnam in 1954 and how this led to U.S. intervention (p. 12) She goes on to provide a graphic description of the effects of Agent Orange, which effectively gives the reader a clear picture of this deadly chemical. (16) The pictures also show the reader the impact that guerilla warfare had on Vietnam, especially the ones that show the tunnels that the NLF lived in. (p. 23) These pictures were very interesting In addition, Senker effectively explains…. ………………………………… because she …… (Provide a total of five examples. Lastly, I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning about the Vietnam War by someone who has a non biased perspective.
