How Do We Maximize the Opportunities Provided by Natural Gas?
Move supply to where it’s needed Enact pro-development policies to grow the industry Develop end uses of natural gas So what do we do to increase oil and gas activity and the economic benefits to the state and local communities? Number of things on the state and federal levels: 1 – Pipelines - The other critical component is the approval and construction of pipeline infrastructure. If we can’t get transport the product to market, we can’t fully develop it. It’s that simple. 2– mineral efficiency so we can fully produce and be fair and reasonable about land issues. – SB 576 Cotenancy and joint development3 – Storage hub – talk more about that later 3 – end uses – natural gas fired electric generation facilities, storage hub to grow petrochecmical industry
