1 ROUTINE TRANSFER OF MULTIPLE EMBRYOS IS NO LONGER NECESSARY TO ACHIEVE HIGH RATES OF HEALTHY SINGLETON BIRTHS PER TRANSFER IN WOMEN UP TO 42 YEARS OLD ASRM PosterPlus #454 Narrated by Mitchel C. Schiewe, PhD Newport Beach, CA Las Vegas, NV Nashville, TN Austin, TX

2 Disclosures J Whitney, BS and RE Anderson, MD serve as educational advisors for Illumina. MC Schiewe, PhD developed µS-VTF without any commercial interests, and serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of Innovative CryoEnterprises. Ovation Genetics – In-house PGS services The authors have no conflicts of interest to disclose regarding the presentation of our data. We use a microSecure aseptic, closed VTF procedure that has consistently attained >99% complete survival of biopsied Blastocysts over the past four years.

3 The Ovation Fertility Motto is
Introduction TITLE The Ovation Fertility Motto is “ONE EMBRYO – ONE BABY” The combination of a highly reliable vitrification and genetic testing program has enabled us to progressively adopt our goal of transferring a single euploid embryo to achieve a single, healthy term birth. These technologies have allowed us to adhere to moral & ethical standards compatiable to a highly competitive IVF industry in SOCal.

4 Greatest Reported Implantation Rates Among 460 US Centers
Background & Results TITLE Greatest Reported Implantation Rates Among 460 US Centers Implantation Rate An accelerated application of ”Vitrification-All” cycles has occurred in recent years (2014 –date), especially in conjunction with BL-Bx/PGS, resulting in continued improvements in embryo use efficency and significant improvements in implantation LBRs, as evidenced in the Annual CDC statistics since 2014 across age groups when contrast to Fresh ET cycles. The Physicians using Ovation Fertility’s Newport Beach IVF lab have produced some of the highest FET success rates in the country for women in all age groups, according to standardized national statistics, while maintaining fewer than 5% twins. CDC Inclusion required > 20 transferred embryos

5 DISCUSSION The global adoption of highly reliable vitrification practices has facilitated significant, progressive improvements in IVF-FET outcomes. In conjunction with blastocyst biopsy/PGS, single euploid embryo transfer (SEET) has optimized embryo utilization rates, and significantly elevated LBRs/ET in women of all age groups. Published reports have shown the added medical costs of multiple births greatly exceed the total cost of IVF cycles performed in the United States. Considering the overall effectiveness of SEET and vitrification, we believe that PGS is a societal bargain. Overall, vitrification and PGS has allowed us to enhance ethical standards in patient care and improve the healthy singleton LBR’s. We have optimized embryo utilization rates, and significantly elevated LBRs/ET in women of all age groups, predominantly transferring single euploid embryo transfer blastocysts. Although there is an increased incidence of aneuploid only IVF cycles in older women, being approximately 25% in yo, 42% in yo and over 80% in women 43yo or more, we believe this disappointing information to a patient greatly reduces the emotional pain and depression associated with pregnancy loss and reduces the time needed to achieve the desired outcome of healthy singleton births. Furthermore, considering excessive medical costs associated with multiple births and risks of premature births to infant wellbeing, we believe that PGS is a societal bargain. Overall, vitrification and PGS has allowed us to enhance ethical standards in patient care and improve healthy singleton term LBR’s, as highlighted by the annual CDC/ART reports in 2014 and more recently 2015.
