2. ( l l ) –the border around the edges of the main image give it the old photo album look enforcing that this is an informal film. ( l l ) – what looks like the main character is wearing boxers and looking directly at us with an almost perverted looking smile could hint what the movie is going to be about ( l l ) – the only prop seen is the instrument in one of the characters hands, could be hinting something about the character. ( l l ) – pie, poked instead of sliced ( l l ) – image has a hint of amateurism, the drunk party look gives movie a light tone and a comical mood. ( l l ) – Tone /Mood = Happy EVERYONE IS SMILING

( l l ) The image has more people in it than a typical movie poster would normally have, maybe this subversion shows a hint of teenage rebellion ( l l ) - The way that the image is cropped makes it look crowded. This could symbolize the party lifestyle that American college students are notorious for. ( l l ) – the title of the film looks like a stamp of certification or approval, this could tie in with the pact that the friends made with each other to loose there virginity before a certain time.

4. ( l l ) – Teen Romantic comedy ( l l ) – With a first glance you can tell that the film has comedy in it. The character in the centre wearing boxers is a pretty huge giveaway. ( l l ) – Romance in the film could be hinted with how close everyone is together and specifically the way the character with the instrument is almost embracing the one with the boxers on ( l l ) – once again referring to the way that everyone is smiling this hints that the film could be a comedy

5. ( l l ) – On this poster representation and ideology are used conventionally... ( l l ) – the stereotype of American teenagers is used.. Eccentric..overboard.. The character in boxers could be showing this.. ( l l ) - notice how the blond female character looks allot more loose than the rest of the female characters on the poster. The way her clothes seem to be falling off along with her gaping open mouthed smile give her the typical Dum blonde look.

6. ( l l ) – This particular poster has no information about the film on it bar the title. Keeping in mind that i retrieved the poster from a website dedicated to American pie ( l l ) – I believe you could have seen modified versions of the poster on the sides of busses and in tube stations. Also posters could appear on billboards and in cinemas.. ( l l ) - specifically this one i believe would only appear on the internet where there is some information about the film.
