The holy grail – a new ground for BUFC
Every community needs a vibrant football club BUFC needs a new facility that represents and can cope with the way Banbury United is growing. We need a facility that has more than one pitch! We need a facility that we can support the rest of the community with. It’s time to be more pro-active towards the ground issues and a more intense dialogue with local government, our landlord and key stakeholders such as Sport England is taking place.

Attendances – 500 average - How?
Strategic poster campaign – sponsored/sponsors! Targeted social media – fans work in a co-ordinated way to attract supporters to the clubs matches Working with sponsors social media Sponsorships with large local employers – Magna, DHL and more! Monthly presence in Castle Quay Working in partnership with schools (slide below)

Partnership with local schools – NASUWT & ARCH links
Seek funding for a schools liaison officer Going into schools with coaches/players Training sessions Reading sessions (ARCH) Each home league game allocated to a primary school Free tickets for pupils and parents of that school

Educational courses with Banbury & Bicester College
Run level 2 and 3 football courses in partnership with Banbury & Bicester College Support young people to gain qualifications alongside enjoying football A key to long term educational partnership would need the support of a new facility from local government.

Youth Section Have a vibrant professional youth section that is fully integrated into our community football club Create an environment in which the best local youngsters in the area want to play for Banbury United Have a system in which our youth sections can see a clear pathway to the clubs first team

Charity partnerships “Bollox” !!! Citizens Advice Bureau Frank Wise Save Our Horton Supporting Local Events with raffle prizes Katherine House Hospice Special Causes – The Kyme family Possible expansion of 100 club into community with charity link

Allows fans to enjoy away matches Leading on and supporting outdoor community events
