2 Agriculture Sharing experience and concerns between two countries: Bangladesh and Kazakhstan Bangladesh: 1st time government officials in charge of preparing the NC Kazakhstan: as Annex I, it is reporting every year since 2009

3 Agriculture The two countries have a similar set up: centralized with around 7 governmental people in charge of NGHGI Bangladesh: technical people not fully dedicated 2006 IPCC guideline at Tier 1 Data sharing is not streamlined Main concern raised is data archiving after the NC2 and a plan for development Kazakhstan: not only NGHGI but also the pollutant 2006 IPCC guideline, using Tier 2 for key category (using research emission factor) Data sharing is easy, by accessing Statistical Authority website Data archiving is set up but interested to improve

4 LULUCF / Forestry and other land use
Many countries (around 10) participated in the Technical Issues discussion related to LULUCF The countries have different national circumstances, institutional arrangements and technical knowledge on reporting LULUCF emissions and removals

Issue of double counting in Energy and LULUCF sector once report emissions for bioenergy production/use Challenges estimating emission from forest degradation – illegal logging, surface fires, grazing Accounting frameworks for LULUCF Report on Mangrove forests – but IPCC Guidelines are lacking detail Challenges for classification and mapping of land-use
