3. CLIMATE CHANGE
Humans are increasingly influencing the climate and the earth's temperature by
 burning fossil fuels
cutting down rainforests
farming livestock.
Industrial activities

4. PARIS AGREEMENT 2015
The Paris Agreement central aim is to strengthen the global response to the threat of climate change by
keeping a global temperature rise well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels
to pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase even further to 1.5 degrees Celsius
The Paris Agreement was sealed on December 2015 , thus enabling its entry into force on 4 November 2016.

5. ACHIEVING PARIS AGREEMENT GOALS
To achieve the goals above The Paris Agreement has put forward the following plans to support countries
appropriate financial flows
a new technology framework
capacity building framework 

6. PARIS AGREEMENT-Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC)
The NDC refers to responsibilities placed on countries to strengthen effort in curbing climate change, reporting regularly on their emissions and on their implementation plans

7. INITIATIVE BY THE THAILAND GOVERNMENT
Thailand has come up with the GREENHOUSE BUILDING MODEL in Asia. Thailand received assistance from NAMA for the building sector in Asia and it’s the first country to officially register a NAMA. A greenhouse building basically is a structure that produces a microclimate ideal for plant growth

8. INITIATIVE BY THE THAILAND GOVERNMENT
The Greenhouse project adopted by the Thailand Government aims at
at building low and middle income housing,
retrofitting government buildings and
instilling national green building specification.
The effect of this project would lead to
The fulfilling of national determined contribution to the Paris agreement of 20% emission reduction from business as usual by 2030
Create jobs
Reduce poverty
Promote access to energy at local and national level

9. STAKEHOLDERS IN THAILAND
The project brought together representatives from the following sectors
construction sector
developers
local authorities
civil society and
ministers

10. GREENHOUSE PROJECT EXPECTATION
Emission reduction by 304kt (kilotonnes) of carbon dioxide equivalent per year and 1.6kt of carbon dioxide equivalent annually with the government building commitment.
