I/O Board (IOB) to be removed
FMS-DCI6-DV-1 Fischer and Porter System 6 > DeltaV Using ADP-ITB (Migration Adapters) I/O Board (IOB) to be removed New DeltaV System ITB and cable to be kept The ITB Migration Adapters (ADP-ITB) allow to connect easily, existing Fischer and Porter System 6 FTAs to DeltaV I/O cards keeping in place : the existing I/O panels (ITBs) the existing associated I/O cables the existing loop power supplies connected on the FTAs No impact on the field wiring No need for loop check This document and the information therein are the property of FIRELEC and shall not be copied or communicated to a third party without the prior written authorization of FIRELEC

FMS-DCI6-DV-1 Compatibility table IOB (Input/Output Board) :
The board which is to be removed FTA (Field Termination Assembly) : The I/O panel where the I/Os are connected, and which is kept Firelec Adapter : The migration adapter to be installed in BC11007 (new I/O file) to perform I/O migration and process signal spliting toward the DeltaV system I/O cards. FMS-DCI6-DV-1 Advantages
The main advantages of the FMS-DCI6-DV-1 (ADP-ITBs) for Fischer and Porter System 6 migration are as follow : Existing I/O cables are just disconnected from the Fischer and Porter System 6 I/O boards and reconnected to the ADP-ITBs keeping in place the FTAs and associated I/O cables The existing loop drawings are kept without any modification, allowing all maintenance processes and procedures to remain unchanged.
