2 What is Photo Story? Photo Story is a free software program that children can use to create a photo slideshow presentation in any subject area. You can showcase the presentation as a podcast on your website.

7 Rearrange and edit pictures We wouldnt rely on Photo Story for photo editing. We recommend you edit your pictures before placing them into Photo Story.

10 Text and Effects NOTE: When adding text to photos make sure that your photos are of good resolution because when the movie is created the text added in Photo Story will take on the same resolution as the picture.

21 Save Your Project NOTE: This step should be taken periodically to ensure changes are saved in case of... well, you know what computers can sometimes do.

22 Make Your Story Into a Movie

23 Profile for computers 2 (640x480) After selecting the appropriate profile click OK.

24 Make Your Story Into a Movie Click the Next button to create your movie. This could take a few minutes or many minutes. The length and amount of information your story contains will determine how long this step takes.

25 Make Your Story Into a Movie When it finishes creating the movie you will see this. This screen tells you your movie's name, location of the file, and the size of the file.

26 Make Your Story Into a Movie At this point you can click on view your story to see your masterpiece. Windows Media Player will open and play your movie. NOTE: After you create your movie there will be two file types created. One of the files will have the extension.wp3 which is your project file for Photo Story 3. This file is created when you save your "project" in PS3. If you want to edit your story this is the file that you will open with Photo Story 3. The other file you will have created is a.wmv. This file is your final movie that will play in Windows Media Player. This file cannot be edited by Photo Story 3.

28 Creating Podcast on Your Website Select: Pages at the top of your workspace page. New page Podcast

29 Creating Podcast on Your Website Name your podcast page and save.

30 Creating Podcast on Your Website Find your podcast page you have created in your Section Workspace and open that file.

31 Creating Podcast on Your Website Click New Episode

32 Creating Podcast on Your Website Give a title to your podcast. A description of your podcast. The Author Browse and find the file. (wmv file) Be sure to click active Save
