2. Festival Description
The festival is schedule for Saturday, May 13th, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The festival is described as a family-oriented fundraiser.
Children’s crafts and activities. A silent auction. Live music. Food trucks. Beverage booths and a water station.
Approximately 400 people, which includes 100 volunteers, are anticipated to attend.

Planning Staff determined the proposed festival is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Section 15304(e) Minor Alterations to Land:
(e) Minor temporary use of land having negligible or no permanent effects on the environment, including carnivals, sales of Christmas trees, etc.

8. Staff Recommendation
It is requested that the Board of Supervisors take the following action on the requested outdoor festival license for Sherwood Montessori School:
1. Find the festival to be Categorically Exempt under Section 15304(e) of the California Environmental Quality Act; and
Approve the application for an outdoor festival license MISC subject to recommended conditions.
