The areas covered by this training: This course was developed for delivery at Level 1 in line with the competency requirements as set out in “Safeguarding Children and Young people: roles and competencies of health care staff.” (Intercollegiate Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health 2014) and therefore is fully compliant with Care Certificate Standard 11 for Health Care Workers.
