4-4 and 4-5: Congruent Triangle Theorems

In order for two triangles to be congruent, ALL 3 corresponding sides must be congruent, and ALL 3 corresponding angles must be congruent.

BUT, this would take forever, so there are some short-cuts:
SSS – Side-side-side – prove the 3 corresponding sides congruent. SAS – Side-angle-side – prove two sides and the included angle are congruent. ASA – Angle-side-angle – prove two angles and the included side are congruent. AAS – Angle-angle-side – prove two angles and a side congruent. (The side is not included.)

Remember: There is no AAA or ASS.
