2. HISTORY
Launched on December 2nd 1995 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida.
SOHO's was designed by Matra Marconi Space company formerly Matra Espace.
Several design teams worked together to design the spacecraft.
SOHO was assembled and tested in France and England.
She was flown in 2 large containers to Cape Canaveral, Florida.

3. DESCRIPTION
SOHO had a mass of 1861 kg however its mass has changed due to the use of some of its propellant.
She launched with 235 kg of propellant in her tank.
All of its electrical energy comes from her solar cells.

4. FUTURE People believe that in the future, she may burn up.
scientists have studied and agreed that it is not a possibility.
SOHO is in good shape.
She has rocket fuel on board to last for 20 years or more.

5. PURPOSE
SOHO was designed to study the sun's interior and the corona as well as the acceleration and propagation of the solar winds and its interaction with Earth.

6. RESULTS
SOHO discovered more than 50 comets, including many sun grazers.
The NASA lost communication with SOHO due to maintenance operations.
Communication was finally reestablished after six weeks of silence.

7. CONCLUSION SOHO accomplished all of its goals.
It gathered information about the sun and the solar winds.
NASA and ESA worked very hard to make SOHO a success.
