WHAT IS HYDROGEN POWER? Hydrogen power is an zero emission fuel when it’s burned with oxygen. It can be used in electrochemical cells or internal combustion engines to power vehicles or electric devices. Hydrogen power is used as fuel in the NASA program. Also, hydrogen is used to propel space shuttles and and other rockets, while hydrogen the fuel cells power the electrical systems of the shuttle. The hydrogen fuel cell is also used to produce pure water for the shuttle crew.

Nikola motor COMPANY Nikola Motor is an American hybrid truck design company based in Salt Lake City, Utah that was founded in 2014. The Company also designs and manufactures electric components, drivetrains and vehicles including the Nikola One and Nikola Two electric semi-trucks.

NIKOLA ONE PERFORMANCE:
Uses up to 2-3 X more miles per gallon, better aerodynamics It’s ability to accelerate nearly 2x faster than a stock diesel tractor. It only uses energy when it’s needed, which means no idling. Charging batteries , regenerative braking. 6X4 four-wheel drive which does pulling and pushing at the same time. Up to 95% efficient electric motors and up to 70% efficient fuel cell.

Nikola one: safety SURROUND VISION: BRAKING LOW CENTRE OF GRAVITY
Shows the driver a virtual aerial view of the area of the truck and the trailer. Which means blind spots don’t exist. There are several HD cameras throughout the vehicle. That provides a 360 degree view of the truck. BRAKING Nikola One begins braking within 10 milliseconds. That makes it hundreds of times faster than advanced air-only disc brakes. LOW CENTRE OF GRAVITY The Nikola One has lowered the gravity by removing the diesel engine, transmission, emissions equipment and installing batteries. This makes the Centre of gravity lower than other semi trucks on the market. Low Centre of gravity means you have more control of the truck and its safer to drive.

WHERE HYDROGEN POWER CAN BE FOUND
Hydrogen can be found in gas planets, stars and in water. Hydrogen is one of the two elements found in water, which is created with two hydrogen atoms that have bonded to one oxygen atom.
14
HOW IT WORKS Hydrogen can be utilized as an energy source through a simple energy conversion. Hydrogen is in its chemical state, which means that it produces chemical energy. In order to utilize it as a source, chemical energy can be converted to mechanical energy. The simple energy conversion can be made possible by internal combustion, which involves burning hydrogen. Burning of hydrogen creates a chemical reaction towards O2, which creates heat that could charge fuel cells

CSRIO hydrogen technology
The two year project that will build CSRIO’s expertise by separating pure hydrogen from the mixed gas streams. Although, converting ammonia to high purity hydrogen for the use in for the fuel cell vehicles The membrane reactor technology fills the gap between hydrogen production, distribution and delivery in a form of a unit that can be used near a refuelling station. The membrane allows the hydrogen to be transported in the form of ammonia then reconverted back into hydrogen.

CSIRO research will fill a gap in the global energy technology chain to supply fuel cell vehicles with low-emissions hydrogen sourced from Australia.
17
This market didn't exist 10 years ago – now Australia is positioned to be the number one renewable fuel provider in the world's fastest growing region." In addition to its membrane technology, CSIRO will apply its expertise to all stages of the technology chain (including solar photovoltaics, solar thermal, grid management, water electrolysis, ammonia synthesis, direct ammonia utilisation via combustion and/or fuel cells, as well as hydrogen production). Chair of Renewable Hydrogen, Brett Cooper believes CSIRO’s membrane technology can enable a new, and potentially carbon-free, export industry for Australia that could match the scale of the current LNG industry. "With this technology, we can now deliver our renewable energy to Japan, Korea and across the Asia-Pacific region in liquid form, as renewable ammonia, and efficiently convert it back to pure hydrogen for cars, buses, power generation and industrial processes," Mr Cooper said.

How will we make all this Hydrogen ?
AUSTRALIA HAS THE HIGHEST SOLAR RADIATION FACTOR ON EARTH 6 KW PER SQUARE METRE PER DAY. DEVELOPED IN NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY Our heliostat technology will be used for concentrating solar thermal (CST) electricity generation in China. China will aim to produce 1.4 GW of CST by 2018, and 5 GW by Then China aims to produce 1.4 GW of CST by 2018, and 5 GW by This would double the world's installed CST plants.
