Fundamental Counting Principle (1/1)
The number of elements in a sample space can be calculated by multiplying the number of ways in each stage of selection. Example: A committee is made up of 3 people. One from each of three groups. Group A (5), Group B (2) and Group C (3) n(S) = 5 x 2 x 3 = 30 Group A Group B Group C
