Brett Palm Jimenez Group CU-Boulder My problem: At very high mass loadings (~thousand ug/m3), organic peak interference at various masses (eg Ar, W) causes problems with the m/z cal

2 Example of Argon m/z 40 successive V-mode runs, high loadings start in r2349:

3 Possible fixes (in no particular order):
Don’t use that mass, manually use another May need separate ToDo waves for high and low mass loadings Peak search factor Changes the window where it searches for the peak Change the value of Delta for that mass Adjusts the number of points it tries to fit Filter Bad Parameters in Step 4 Find a threshold that you think defines the bad fits Choose replacement method Interpolate Repeat last good fit Use logging (from DAQ, probably not recommended for most apps) Make sure “# runs where fit = nan” is zero before you hit ‘End’
