3. Tardies/Checkouts/Absences
4th Grade is Soooo Important!
Be Here!!! It’s hard to make up when you miss out on the class discussions!
More than 3 tardies = NO PBIS
Ancillaries are from 2:15 – 3:15.
If they check out early – they miss their arts block.

4. Homework Always posted on the boards in the classroom
Always posted on class website(subject to change)
Students responsibility to record in planner
Parents can sign planner every day – This indicates you know what the assignment was and that it was done correctly
Incomplete homework will be done at recess

5. Behavior Weekly conduct sheet Will come home on Thursdays
PLEASE return the next day, your student will receive a work habit mark 
Teachers will write in certain ink colors
-Boudreaux (purple/pink)
-Harris (blue/black)
-Adkinson (green)
*Teacher comments will be signed/initialed by individual teacher.

7. Opera Students will create and perform their own original opera
Process will begin after Labor Day
Performances:
Dec.11th – 1:30
Dec.12th – 9:30
Dec.13th – 10:00 & 6:30 Performance
Dec. 14th- Strike & Cast Party

1st 9 weeks’ conference is mandatory

9. Departmentalization/Schedule
Students will travel to 3 different rooms during the day
Homeroom 8:00-8:50 (school business)
Block 1, 8:55-10:25
Block 2, 10:30-12:25
Block 3 (Homeroom), 12:30-2:15
Ancillary 2:15-3:15
Travel with personal supplies
Textbooks stay at home except for homeroom books

10. General Curriculum night- August 28th @ 6:15.
We prefer no rolling book sacks
Spirit Shirts- order forms in class. Can be worn everyday!!!
1st Day Packet – homework for parents
Supplies: Please try your best to make certain that your child has all of his/her supplies by next week.
School Planners may still be purchased for $5

11. Transportation NO WALK UPS ALLOWED
A written note or must be given to change transportation method.
If you cannot pick up your student, they will be sent to extended day, the drop-in fee is $_________.
Late carpool is $1.00 a minute after 3:40.
Make sure your child knows how they are getting home before you leave home in the morning.
