BONUS The present tense of a verb states an action that is happening now or that happens regularly. *I like soccer, and we practice every day. Day 1

BONUS The past tense of a verb states an action that happened at a specific time in the past. *Yesterday, I painted and finished a model of a submarine. Day 1

BONUS The future tense of a verb states an action that will take place in the future. It is formed by using will or shall before the main verb. *Next week, I will start a new model. Day 1

BONUS The present perfect tense states an action that is still going on. Add has or have before the past participle form of the main verb. *The boys have been fishing for three hours. Day 1

Using your own writing, add sentences using the correct verb tense. A story must stay in the same tense from the first sentence to the last sentence with only a few exceptions. If it happened in the past, every verb should be a past tense verb. *Tip: Personal narratives (stories about events in your own life) are written in past tense. Day 2
