Get two colored pencils

2. Step 1.
With one of the colored pencils, divide your paper into “scenes” – Number each scene.

4. Step 2 READ each scene. Choose at least TWO scenes to revise
After you read each scene, ask yourself
Does this scene add to the overall meaning of my story?
Can I add a detail to make the picture more vivid?
Do I need to delete anything that’s not needed?

5. Step 3
On a separate sheet of paper, put the scene number of one of the scenes to which you will add more detail.

6. Revision requirement
You will add more to no less than TWO scenes. You will decide what details might need to be deleted, added or rearranged. Make clean copy
