1.Go to: microsoft.com, click downloads, type photo gallery in the search bar and hit enter then click the first link listed and then click the Download now button. (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/photo- gallery#photogallery=overview) 2.Follow the prompts that pop-up: run, run, yes, etc. DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE APPLICATION Check to verify if you computer already has the program installed by: 1.clicking the start button or (lower left corner of screen) 2.click All Programs and then click Windows Live Photo Gallery or, if you have created a desktop shortcut, click on it: 3.Use the programs (HELP) feature as needed 4.If the software isnt on your computer then download and install it

1.Select a color photo to work with by double clicking on its thumbnail. 2.Scroll over the effects buttons then click on the black & white option 3.Click the button (note where it is saved and the copys name) 4. Click and use the options on the right to adjust your photo as needed. 5. Make a copy, click, click, make a copy and click. 6. Rename and submit all versions of your photo for evaluation. 1.Select a photo to work with by double clicking on its thumbnail. 2.Click, click on the options available and select the 5x7 proportion option. 3.Drag the 5x7 frame and resize by dragging a corner until you have the resized image you want then click Apply Crop in the Crop dropdown menu. Make a copy and then revert back to original. 4. Click and use the options on the right to adjust your photo as needed. 5. Make a copy, click, click, make a copy and click. 6.
