There are thousands of children from Miami’s most challenged neighborhoods in need of HOLISTIC services.
The vast majority of these children are minorities.

6. MENTORING IS NOT ENOUGH!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami with it’s new Headquarters, the Carnival Center for Excellence, is well positioned to provide pathways to success for children and families through a community collaboration model.

7. BREAKING THE CYCLE
Breaking the cycle of delinquency and poverty by reaching Miami’s most vulnerable.
The target population will include, but is not limited to:
Children in Foster Care
Disabled Children
Children with an Incarcerated Parent

8. INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING
First Responders Training and Certificate Program. (In partnership with Police, Fire and Emergency Management Personnel)
STEAM Programming. Science Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math, including a DJ Academy and Broadcasting Program.
Health & Wellness “Big Fitness” Programming. (Yoga for Kids and Families)
