How it works:
Read from June 9th - August 26th.
Track your time. Read for 15 minutes and darken a box. Double the time for reading in your non-native language.
Submit your Tally Chart by Sept. 7th for level prizes and chances to win grand prizes! Get one raffle ticket for participating with at least 20 hours (less than 20 minutes per day!) and an additional ticket for every 10 hours of reading time.
CELEBRATE! SOL Party on September 28.
What counts as reading?
Read to yourself or others.
Listen to someone read to you.
Books, magazines/newspapers, eReaders, RazKids (passwords still work!), etc. If it’s reading, it counts!
Attend a reading program at the public library or story time at a local bookstore.

Every 10 hours of reading time = 1 raffle ticket
Reward Levels
= 10 (1 ticket)
= 20 T-shirt + 1 ticket
= 30 (1 ticket)
= 40 No Uniform Day + 1 ticket
= 50 (1 ticket)
= 60 No Homework Day + 1 ticket
= 70 (1 ticket)
= 80 Popsicle Day + 1 ticket
= 90 (1 ticket)
= 100 Tie Dye T-shirt + 1 ticket
