3 Talking Points: Physical Facilities
Automate Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is primarily focused on Physical Facilities (PF). The majority of facility related projects will move into production in October.   While many of the changes are internal process changes within PF, there are a few key impacts to major units across the system, including: On-line visibility into capital projects through new Capital Project SAP module Workflows for submission of requests through project approvals become electronic vs. paper based Request for work orders and communication regarding work order statuses for the end user, and building deputies are on-line (with the exception of Regionals) Reporting on key financials will be available to report writers through the Purdue Data Warehouse We will be working with Deans, VPs, Directors (or their delegates) in the coming weeks to identify roles within colleges who will be responsible for initiating capital projects. This must be completed prior to go- live in October.
