Offers writing instruction and support to any students, faculty, and staff (including support for multilingual writers) Helps all types of writers improve Provides writing resources, both print and online Fosters an environment of collaborative learning about writing

Anything that involves writing UCF writing assignments Research papers, annotated bibliographies, literature reviews Theses and dissertations Speeches, presentations, digital projects Personal statements, admission essays, writing samples Résumés and C.V.s Personal or creative writing Discussion posts Explain that these are examples but there are other assignments we can work on.

How to Get Started Make an appointment in advance by calling or visiting our website Come in as a walk-in writer at the beginning of the hour Set up a recurring appointment Explain how walk-in writers work and that they aren’t guaranteed a session. Explain recurring appointment and purpose.

What to Expect One-on-one, 45 minute long consultations beginning on the hour One visit per day/three in a seven day period Bring your assignment prompt and any other work you have done Undergraduate and graduate students trained to help you learn and become a better writer
